As shippers across Asia try to manage volatility across the supply chain, it has been the local regional office representatives of Canadian Pacific that have provided time critical updates on operations across the North American railroad.
“With container shortages, port congestion and the global knock-on effects of the Suez blockage, it is essential that shippers have the most up-to-date information about schedules, berth availability and intermodal connections,” said Corey Heinz, Managing Director (Asia), Canadian Pacific.
“Our customers have local touch points across Asia through our office network which includes Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo, Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore. Our experienced team can provide real time updates for our customers in their own language and time zone.”
Canadian Pacific’s investment in Asia has been recognised once again by a nomination as a finalist in the Best North American Railroad category for the 2021 Asia Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain Awards.
“We are delighted to be nominated as a finalist once again for the AFLAS, we appreciate this recognition and support from the Asian shipper and carrier communities,” said Heinz.
